When is Cloud Hosting an Option for You

Cloud hosting or cloud computing is a process which involves the online sharing of computer resources such as applications, software and data. This technique came about to meet the need of clients who handle high volumes of business deals and are suited for big corporations or for companies that deal with large quantities of information. The basic advantage of this type of hosting over other kinds is its high capacity for data storage. It started out as a resource for telephone networks and gradually evolved to accommodate internet transactions.

It is a relatively new technology that permits the sharing of assets between computer networks to improve the delivery of data and make web hosting processes fast and efficient. Large companies stand to gain a lot from acquiring this service because it is billed on a per need basis. Users are actually given choices to enumerate their preferred operating system and other infrastructure requirement. So, in a way, you get customized service and will only be billed for the resource that you use.

Other benefits include a decrease in risk involving data storage because it is supported by a lot of servers which means that if a device malfunctions, the network can still sustain the normal delivery of service. To a client, it means no disruption in the regular company operations. It also offers a guaranteed server space and can contain both your original and back up data. You are actually allotted an exclusive space which will not be shared with other clients. In a way, it’s like getting a dedicated server because you get the same level of privacy and security. The strongest feature of cloud hosting however, is that it offers the lowest service charge for an extensive set of hosting service.

The controls are managed by administrators using a web program to modify elements as requested by clients. So if a client suddenly advices the potential increase in activity for a specific website, the server host can adjust the processing power and bandwidth to accommodate the rise in user traffic.
While other servers rely on a single machine only, cloud hosting is supported by multiple servers. It is designed to permit multiple servers to follow one system and allows the sharing and adjustment of common components such as space or RAM. This unique connection is what makes it stronger and more powerful than other hosting servers. It has the capacity to significantly increase the level of its shared units and easily accommodate the rapid growth of a website.

The Science Behind Dissolved Oxygen In Water

The term “dissolved oxygen in water” can sound very confusing, but it basically means how much oxygen is in a body of water at any given time.  Oxygen dissolves in water the same way any other soluble matter would, such as salt or sugar.  Dissolved oxygen is extremely important to all aquatic life, plants and animals alike.  The same way that we breathe above water, plants and animals also need to be able to breathe underwater.

While there are varying levels of dissolved oxygen you will find in water, there is a maximum any given body of water should have, before it can become harmful to the living organisms in that body of water.  There is a minimum of dissolved oxygen necessary as well.  There are some existing plants and animals that can live on a varying degree of dissolved oxygen, making them able to live in a lot of different places.  For example, if you have a fish that is able to live on a very low amount of dissolved oxygen, most likely they will also be able to live on the higher end of the scale as well.  Some plants and animals are not as lucky though, which is why it is important to maintain the delicate balance of dissolved oxygen in a given body of water.

You may have heard that pollution is largely responsible for the demise of the organisms living in a body of water, but may not quite understand the correlation.  While the breakdown of a natural organism in a body of water does require some oxygen, it also releases some oxygen in the process, ensuring that the oxygen is not entirely depleted.  However, when you introduce human garbage into the mix, the breakdown of those materials requires a great deal of oxygen, and the amount of oxygen put back into the system is not balanced out properly.  The dramatic decrease in oxygen can kill off entire species of animal or plant living in that ecosystem.  And while the pollution may not drive away all types of species, you have now put a great deal of strain on the otherwise perfectly-functioning food chain that previously existed there.  For example, if a fish feeds on a certain type of algae, but the algae dies off due to low dissolved oxygen in the water, then the fish no longer has the food it needs to survive, and it slowly dies.

For most of us, the idea of pollution is just absolutely wrong, even if you don’t know fully understand why.  However, it is important to thoroughly understand how pollution works so that you can further educate your peers and family.
